Sorrento South Embraces The Sport of Boating

We are a boating community and strongly encourage our Sorrento South Residents to take advantage of all the boating facilities available at Sorrento South and in our area. Here are some of the boating conveniences that are available:

Our marina has 41 docks with sailboat access to the ICW and the Gulf of Mexico.

There are 51 waterfront homes on our canals with sailboat access to the ICW and GOM.

Sorrento South homeowners that are not on a canal and all Sorrento East homeowners can purchase the right to use a dock in the marina and become a member of the Sorrento Dock Owners Association. Marina membership is subject to the SDOA rules and regulations.

Homeowners in the following subdivisions can rent a boat dock in our marina:

• Sorrento South
• Sorrento East
• Sorrento Inlets
• Sorrento Place
• Sorrento Villas Condominiums Section III
• Blackburn Shores

We are located 2.5 miles from the Albee Boat Ramp, 3.0 miles from the Blackburn Boat Ramp and 5.0 miles from the Venice Boat Ramp. Boats and kayaks can be launched at these locations.
